Do you have a goal in place that requires an extra bit of cash that you don’t have at the moment? If so, then maybe it’s time to figure out how you can reach your money saving goal. There are several ways that you can save money like a pro but sometimes the easiest way to get ahead of your savings goal could just be right from the comfort of your smartphone.

I’ve done my research and discovered 5 different apps that can be used to make extra money.

Freemyapps always users to earn money by downloading and trying new apps, watching videos and playing games. Points earned can be used to cash out into gift cards at popular retailers and Paypal.

Fiverr is a free marketplace where entrepreneurs and and freelancers can meet in the middle to serve each other. If you are a budding entrepreneur but don’t have the funds to start then Fiverr is a great resource to book freelance writers, social media strategists, and more. Freelancers can easily find work and set their prices for their services.

Reselling your items will always be a lucrative way to get rid of old items and exchange or make room for the new in your life. Great and profitable ways to resell items can be through a Poshmark or even an Etsy store. If you are a master thrifter and you always seem to find unique pieces than this might be a good fit as many people have claimed to make thousands of dollars through reselling unique clothing items.

Ibotta is an app that will give you cash back for shopping at your favorite stores. Cash back is a great perk usually used with credit card companies but what if you can get cash back from every purchase? Ibotta is super simple to use as all you have to do is take a picture of your receipt, have them verify the purchase, and then instantly you can find money in your account. If you are interested in trying out Ibotta then feel free to use my code (ulqqdwk) which will provide you with $10 to start your Ibotta journey.

Swagbucks is a great way to make money from the comfort of your home. The app has various ways to make a few extra bucks through cash back, answering surveys and watching videos. Travel Essentials

Next week, I will be ‘traveling with my friends and of course there are a few essentials that I need to travel in style. I will be visiting the sunny side of Miami with a few of my close friends and here’s a list of some of the things I will be packing or bringing on my trip

A Comfy Travel outfit- My travel outfits usually things I can slip on with ease at an early time in the morning. Personally, I usually go for slouchy jumpsuits, or sweat sets.

fashionnova-jumpsuit 2Retro Sunglasses-  Retro sunglasses are very trendy and are a cute way to spice up your vacation outfit. It comes in several different shapes such as the extreme cat eye, super rounded or super square shaped sunglasses that can have you stepping out in style.

You can get retro for less on Amazon

retro-sunglassesSwimsuits- You can’t hit the beach without a cute one piece or a spicy two piece.

Get swimsuits for less on Romwe, Shein, or Zaful

SwimsuitsSandals- Block, strappy sandals, are essentials to dress up a day look and are also great for a night out.

Get affordable block heels from Lola Shoetique, Forever21, or Public DesireTravel Shoes

Camera- A camera is a definite essential to capture the special moments and memories. The camera that I use is the Nikon D5500. However, for vlogging purposes I will be trying out the super affordable Canon Powershot Elph 180.

Crossbody or Fanny Pack– A fanny pack or crossbody are much needed to place all of your essentials such as your cell phone, id, passport or any important items into a convenient and hands-free location.

Crossbody and Fanny Pack

Sunscreen– You can’t go into vacation without sunscreen for protection. A great brand to try for the brown girls is Unsun which will give protection without leaving a white film on the skin.

Cute Suitcase- A compact and stylish suitcase is important for the seasoned jet-setter. A Trendy and affordable suitcase line is the Calpak.

Travel Size Perfume Scent– A dash of perfume will add punctuation to any outfit. The roll on that I will bring on this trip will be the Victor Rolf Flowerbomb scent.

About me

Hello, My Name is Comfort and I am a blogger living in NJ.

This is a hub where fashion, motivation, and women of color can meet to inspire, support and motivate each other towards success.

I will post weekly look books, highlight businesses owned by women of color and offer any lessons and motivation I have learned along the way.

I am not an expert but I think there is beauty in the process and I feel like more people should hear about the journey.
