Wynwood Art Walls Shot with Comfort

Recently, I have travelled to the sunny side of Florida from March 14th- March 25th. It was a welcome respite from the cold Jersey weather and it was great to disconnect, relax, and explore new places. My friends and I are typically very adventurous and we love trying out different restaurants, seeking thrilling activities, and of course people watching. If you are an adventurous foodie with a love for people then my Florida Travel Guide is exactly what you never knew you needed.

Stay:

The best place to stay in Florida is anywhere in or near South Beach. Many of the restaurants, beaches and activities can be found by this location and will surely cut down uber costs if a place is simply booked in this vicinity.

My friends and I ended up staying at an Airbnb that was fairly close to South Beach and transportation was not too expensive as we were able to split it amongst each other six ways. Also, when booking an Airbnb it is always better to book earlier to have more options at an affordable price point.

Eats:

Wet Willies South Beach

Wet Willies South Beach

Puerto Sagua Miami– My first impression of Puerto Sagua was that it was small and cozy. It immediately gave off the ambiance of a home cooked meal and essentially that is exactly what you g0t at Puerto Sagua. Along with a welcoming environment, it hosts an extensive menu with a variety of Cuban food options and of course desert. I started out my meal with delicious chicken empanadas, ordered the oxtail stew over a bed of rise and plantations for my main course and then finished off my amazing meal with apple pie a la mode. The apple pie was hands down the best apple pie I’ve had in a while and my friends who ordered the tres leche had a similar experience.

Wet Willie’s South Beach– If you are looking for big drinks and the perfect people watching location then look no further. Wet Willie’s specialty are large fun drinks that are worth your buck and it was also a great location for people watching with it’s rooftop seats. Wet Willie’s also offers typical bar food options but I highly recommend their nachos which my friends and I all loved.

Wynwood Art Walls-The Wynwood Art District is a photographer and art lover’s dream as it hosts a variety of fun art walls and art exhibits. My friends and I spent a solid amount of time walking the walls, taking pictures, and enjoying the moment.

Thrill:

Jetski Miami

Miami Water Life Tours

Thrill seekers can find an ample amount of water sport activities and I think that you can’t go anywhere without seeking a bit of a thrill. Miami offers many options such as speed boats, parasailing, snorkeling, and jetskis. I was able to sign us all up for a jetski tour with Miami Water Life Tours where we had an exciting experience.

Comment down below if you’ve been to any of these places or others in Miami!
