In Kathleen Elie’s path, she initially felt that she would become a fashion designer and she spent years honing her craft and working to build towards this dream until a single experience changed her perspective. After spending time in an impoverished area of Haiti she quickly decided that she wanted her career to surpass just creating clothes. She wanted to not only share her designs but also share her knowledge of what is happening in impoverished areas of the world and highlight others in the fashion industry doing social good.
